Mitchell Teta is a partner at Dolan Divorce Lawyers. Mitch practices primarily in the area of family law, with a particular focus on high asset and high income divorce cases. Prior to joining Dolan Divorce Lawyers, Mitch gained valuable experience working nearly a decade at established firms in Fairfield County handling high asset divorces, complex custody disputes, and domestic violence cases. Mitch also has significant experience handling child protection and DCF cases.
Mitch is a lifelong Connecticut resident. Mitch graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac School of Law, where he was an associate editor for the Quinnipiac Law Review, and received the Academic Achievement Award in contracts. Prior to law school, Mitch attended Southern Connecticut State University, where he graduated magna cum laude. After law school, Mitch obtained a certification as a counselor of domestic violence.
Mitch resides with his family in Fairfield County. In addition to working at Dolan Divorce Lawyers, he also serves as a professor of business law at Housatonic Valley Community College. In addition to teaching at Housatonic Valley Community College, Mitch has led several Continuing Education courses for attorneys through the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association.
