Nicole C. Mather

Nicole was born and raised in Monroe, CT and her parents still reside there.  She graduated from Fairfield University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Psychology.  Nicole was inducted into Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Honor Society of Sociology, in 2008 while at Fairfield University.  She then attended Albany Law School in New York where she made the Dean’s list both semesters of her third year and was an editor of their online journal where her senior paper was published.  During her tenure at Albany Law, Nicole participated in the Family Violence Litigation Clinic where she discovered her love and passion for practicing family law.

Nicole currently lives in New Haven County with her husband, Tom, two children, Scarlett and Landon, and their goldendoodle, Zack.  Nicole is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and has been named a New England Rising Star Attorney in Family Law every year since 2019.  

Nicole has a passion for helping families struggling through their most difficult times, and has particular knowledge related to children with special needs.  Her son was diagnosed at the age of two with autism, which has imbued her with a personal understanding of the unique struggles and considerations a child with special needs places on a family, and the extra attention that needs to be given to their education and services.  Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid member of the Peloton community.
