He gained invaluable firsthand insight into the judicial process as well as law practice with a wide-range of experience working for Family, Family Support Magistrate, and Criminal courts in Connecticut. He then gained additional judicial experience at the federal level when he worked for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut. Most recently, Attorney Veliu was a member of a compliance team at Deloitte, an experience that further honed his meticulous analytical and organizational skills that he brings to every case.
Attorney Veliu resides with his family in Easton, CT and serves as a member of the Easton Diversity & Inclusion Task Force, where he helps ensure that every member of the community feels welcome, irrespective of who they are or what they believe in.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law with a concentration in family law, where he was a member of the Mock Trial Honor Society and President of OutLaws. He received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in German Studies from the University of Connecticut.
